我買咗 838 差唔多一個星期, 不能夠話佢非常正, 但都幾滿意. 注意我當佢 PDA 用, 我唔會用嚟傾電話只用 EDGE.
如果日常操作, 我覺得速度同以前部 X50v 差唔多. 仲有我而家裝嘅 software 除咗 Astraware 果幾隻名 game 同 Snails 裝唔到, 仲有 Avantgo, Sprite Backup 同 Repligo 仲未得要等 update, 裝嘅 software 係同以前 X50v 機乎一樣. 小弟不才, 部 X50v 攪極一日都要 soft reset 起碼五次 (唔通係怪獸中文作怪??), 但部 838 竟然冇乜, 至多係 Pocket IE load 網頁死. Pocket IE 唔知係部機定呢個 version 關係, 都幾 "立", 就算用 Wifi 都唔好得幾多. 至於之前用 TCPMP 睇片勁疾, 原來唔關粒
OMAP 850 事, 因為之後發覺同一 "炸" file 響 WMP 睇係流暢無比. 我響 TCMCP 個 official forum 問過作者將來會唔會對 OMAP 850 內嘅 2D 加速器作出優化, 答案如下:
"TI makes very little information public about OMAP programming. There is little chance TCPMP will support it via low level access in the future. But WM5 supports DirectX, if the OEM writes the low level drivers and the DirectX driver in TCPMP gets tested enough it might be possible. (but I'am pessimistic about OEM's making good DirectX drivers for WinCE devices...)"
至於個 keyboard 就越用越正, 尤其是你多入英文. 電力算 ok 掛因我未用過其他 PDA Phone, 我前後用 Peoples GPRS 大約三個鐘都仲有電剩. 至於影相就唔掂, 又 blur 又 under, 用嚟 MMS 都 ok, snapshot 就免. MP3 方面唔知因我用 iPod 同 K750i. 睇相速度 ok... 正如其他人講 multitasking 就差少少但都可接受, 我諗除咗 CPU performance 外, 唔夠 RAM 都可能係一個原因, 要試埋其他用 64MB RAM 嘅 WM5.0 機先有結論. 仲有之前跟機 Activesync 4.0 同 unofficial 果隻 4.1 加埋 MS Outlook 攪到 short short 地, 一唔 set MS Outlook 做 default email client 就痴, sync 唔到 PIM data. 今朝 update 咗 official 4.1 就冇事, 真好!! 呢單嘢之前攪到我裝拆 Activesync 同 MS Outlook 好多次都唔得.

Skype 我開咗 account 咁耐都未用過唔知, 不過台灣佬話麻麻, 要 close 哂其他嘢至得. 我除咗 Mapking 裝響 mini SD 外, 其他全部裝哂響 ROM, 慢就少少但我接受到, PPC 不嬲反應都唔係快, 要快要爽不如用番 Palm. 希望香港快啲有 2GB mini SD 賣, 雖然而家 1GB 小小就住都够用, 但用 2GB 可以放任.
最後相信好多人等 O2 Atom, 我個人就興趣不大, 都係口味問題, 我覺得 838 幾貴, 但我竟得佢有啲似 P910i 咁幾型, slide keyboard 人地日本仔 Sharp 部新機都係呢個 form factor, 正爆! 佢個 LCD 算幾正, 陽光下都 ok. 至於 Atom 用 2MP cam 就有所保留因為唔係像數代表一切, 大家都係 1.3MP, 我以前部 S700i 影得靚過而家 838 幾條街, 仲有就係收音機唔知大唔大咬. 老實講而家我用 838 係喪玩果隻, 當埋電話收音機 MP3 咁用一定唔夠. 不過當然個個人用法唔同啦, 呢個只不過係我嘅 case.

另外，你所講的Software是否全部在WM5到行都冇問題？因為聽人講好多Software都未有version for WM5.搞到我mud都唔敢裝......
我啲 software 有七成以上都係最新版, 響 838 冇問題. Resco Utility, Skype, 1-Calc 同 Realone Player 係舊版.

藍牙耳機冇問題, 我係用 Sony Ericsson HBH-60. 838 話音我覺得仲比我 K750i 大聲, 都幾清同對方背景聲好細, 可以清楚聽到對方講乜. 至於速度方面, 我覺得唔差, 睇片打機都 smooth.
我用英文版，請問知唔知可用乜中文外掛？
Hi 狂野村佬, what is the miniSD card your 838 ar ? I use Sandisk 1G for my 838, but the 838 sometimes the media player auto started and the pop-up msg "new card inserted, want to check content ?"
what do you think ? is problem of 838 or "miniSD card" or "miniSD card slot" problem ? Or, this is normal.

我都係用 Sandisk 1GB mini SD card, 只係試過兩次 detect 唔到, 再插就冇事. 你個情況就未試過.
Hi, I know the miniSD problem that I asked. The problem was once Media Player started, even I close it using "X" at right upper corner, it still running at the background, it can be checked in "Settings->System->Memory->Running Programs". Everytime when pressing power on/off, the miniSD slot get re-power and the MediaPlayer got triggered and the pop-up msg displayed "new card inserted, want to check content ?"
To fix this, either stopping the mediaplayer in "Settings->System->Memory->Running Programs->Stop Program". Or, install a 3rd party application, e.g. "spb pocket plus" to handle the "close application" case.
In other word, this is WM5 bug.

使用鍵盤輸入中文或英文時，on-screen keyboard是否仍會顯示，如果仍會佔去一大片screen，那鍵盤的作用就大打折扣了．
由於店舖都不肯給試用真機(只有dummy)，故冒昧請教．
